Two pieces of news regarding the Katherine Mansfield Society.
The first is a call for papers for 2016’s edition (volume 9) of the Katherine Mansfield Studies journal. Papers are sought that engage with all aspects of Mansfield’s response to Russian literature, culture and history, as well as to the Russians she met in England and France. Papers should be between 5000 and 6000 words long, and the deadline for submissions is 31 August, 2016. For full details, click here.
The Society has also announced its annual essay prize competition, for essays on ‘Katherine Mansfield and Russia’. The winner will receive £200 and their paper will be considered for publication in the Society’s journal, Katherine Mansfield Studies. As with journal submissions, papers should be between 5000 and 6000 words, and be submitted by 31 August, 2016. For full details, click here.
