Tatiana Bogrdanova is studying in a Doctoral Program in Language Studies at the University of Eastern Finland at Joensuu. Her thesis is entitled ‘Russian Folk Tales for English Readers: Translators as Cultural Mediators in the Late 19th and Early 20th Centuries’.
Previous to her doctoral study at the University of Eastern Finland, Tatiana was an Associate Professor of the Department for Germanic Philology, Kalmyk State University, Elista, 1996-2014.
