The Anglo-Russian Research Network was founded in 2011 by Rebecca Beasley (Queen’s College, Oxford) and Matthew Taunton (UEA) to bring together scholars from a variety of disciplines, students and all those with an interest in cultural and intellectual relations between Britain and Russia in the period 1880–1950. The network supports a variety of activities. Previously these included a termly reading group at Pushkin House with invited guest speakers. From 2020 we have taken these online, with a hope to introduce in-person groups at Exeter (and online) in future. This website provides information about all our events and publications, collects relevant research materials, and provides information about our members and their research. In so doing, it aims to provide a context for the development of future research projects and intellectual exchanges in this area. Please contact us (see left) if you would like to join the network. Membership is free and open to all.

In 2020 Matt and Becky were joined by Nicholas Hall, Ben Phillips and Anna Maslenova, all of the University of Exeter, in running the Anglo-Russian Research Network.
